What is Y2k38 Compliance?
Y2K38 compliance means that a system can correctly handle dates and times beyond 19 January 2038, when a well-known time limitation affecting many digital systems is reached. Systems that are Y2K38 compliant continue to process time correctly beyond this point.

The call for talks for the first Y2K38 Compliance Conference is now closed.
We would like to thank everyone who submitted proposals and contributed to shaping the conference program.
We invited speakers to contribute to the Y2K38 Compliance Conference and share insights, experiences, and perspectives related to the Year 2038 problem.
The conference brings together talks that explore the challenges, implications, and awareness around the 2038 time boundary, as well as lessons learned from addressing long-term time limitations in digital systems and infrastructure.
Talks from different perspectives are represented in the program, including research, real-world experiences, analysis, and broader discussions around long-lived systems and the future of digital infrastructure.
The final conference program will be distributed directly to registered participants prior to the event.
After Hours at the Edge of Time
Learning and discussion do not have to end when the conference closes. After the event, we have arranged space at a local brewery where participants can meet, continue conversations, and enjoy an evening with fellow attendees.
