Y2K38: The Year 2038 Problem Brand
Your craft. Our brand.
Timing is everything
Imagine knowing today when a technical issue will become a public story. When a topic that now lives mostly among nerds and specialists begins to move industries, fill headlines, and capture attention. When a quiet risk turns into a shared moment, and companies rush in to profit from it.
Now imagine positioning your product for an audience that is already growing and full of potential. An audience that may still seem niche today, but grows in relevance every year. An audience that expands as awareness spreads, more industries take notice, and the story moves closer to the mainstream.
The advantage will not belong to those who arrive when everyone is already watching. It will belong to those who moved early, before the rush, before the hype, before the moment becomes impossible to ignore.
That moment already has a date: January 19, 2038.
Remember the Millennium Bug?
In the years leading up to 2000, a date-related computer issue, later widely known as Y2K, became something much bigger. What began as a technical problem soon spread far beyond specialist circles. It reached the media, filled boardrooms, and entered everyday conversation.
There was a growing sense of anticipation. The date itself seemed to carry weight. Every headline, every discussion, and every countdown added to the feeling that the world was approaching a moment unlike any other.
As attention grew, so did the number of companies trying to profit from the hype. Some had prepared early and understood the moment. Many joined late, hoping to ride the wave. Most were too late.
It will happen again. And we know when.
On January 19, 2038, at 03:14:07 UTC, the Year 2038 Problem reaches its critical moment. What is still a specialist topic today will, over time, move into products, industries, headlines, and public conversation.
It will not be a repeat of the Millennium Bug. But it will follow a familiar pattern. A fixed date creates momentum. A visible deadline draws attention. And attention creates a market.

What is the Year 2038 Problem?
The Year 2038 Problem is a real time-related software flaw that will reach its critical moment on January 19, 2038, at 03:14:07 UTC. Many digital systems measure time as the number of seconds since January 1, 1970, the Unix epoch. In older 32-bit systems, that counter has a fixed limit. One second after that limit is reached, it overflows and jumps back to December 13, 1901. When that happens, affected systems can no longer handle time correctly. Dates may move backwards, calculations can fail, data can become inconsistent, software can malfunction, and some systems may crash.
This is not just about old computers. Time functions are deeply built into modern infrastructure, software, and embedded devices. Depending on where outdated 32-bit time handling still exists, the problem can appear in industrial systems, consumer electronics, transport, media devices, and many other connected products. Not every system will fail. Many have already been updated, and many more will be fixed in time. But where the problem remains unresolved, failures are inevitable.
In simple terms: the Year 2038 Problem is what happens when a time counter runs out of space.
The Y2K38 Trademark and Brand
We at the BEOZ Association are already building.
This is not just an idea. We have already laid the groundwork.
The Y2K38 trademark is already registered across multiple product categories, and we are actively building the foundation around it. That includes visibility, positioning, and long-term relevance.
We are raising awareness around the Year 2038 Problem and building the communities that will grow with it. What is still a niche topic today is already becoming a brand, an audience, and a market.

Why partner with us?
With Y2K38, we are building an early brand around a fixed moment in time.
The trademark is in place, the story is clear, and the foundation is already being built through awareness, communication, and community.
For producers, that creates a rare opportunity. Not just to make another product, but to become part of a story before the wider market arrives.
Together, we can create products that stand out early, grow with the moment, and benefit from the attention that will build around 2038.

We are looking for selected partners who want to build early with us.
This includes breweries, spice makers, food producers, and other manufacturers who create real products and see the value of timing, story, and brand.
We are especially interested in partners who want to do more than produce. We want to work with people who want to become part of something that grows over time.
